Refund and Returns Policy

At TAY CUSHION FURNISHING PTE. LTD. (operating via www.taycushionfurnishing.com), we take great pride in the quality of our cushions and furnishing products. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not entirely happy, we are here to help through a structured and fair return process.

1. THE MANDATORY “PHYSICAL RETURN” RULE

TAY CUSHION FURNISHING PTE. LTD. maintains a strict policy: We do not offer “Refund Only” solutions.

To be eligible for any form of refund, credit, or exchange, the customer must physically return the item to our facility in Singapore. We do not issue monetary refunds for items that remain in the customer’s possession, regardless of the claim (e.g., “damaged,” “not as described,” or “changed mind”). This policy is non-negotiable and serves to ensure the integrity of our inventory and quality control processes.

2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY WINDOW

  • Period: You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original condition—unused, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact. Cushions or fabrics that show signs of wear, stains, or odors will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Proof of Purchase: A digital or physical copy of your receipt/invoice from www.taycushionfurnishing.com must accompany the return.

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

For hygiene and customization reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Custom-Made Products: Any cushions or furnishings made to specific customer dimensions or using custom-selected fabrics.
  • Sale Items: Items purchased during “Final Sale” or “Clearance” events.
  • Personalized Goods: Items that have been embroidered or modified per customer request.

4. THE RETURN PROCESS

To process a return, please follow these mandatory steps:

  1. Notification: Email tricenform@taycushionfurnishing.com within the 14-day window. Include your order number and clear photos of the item.
  2. Authorization: Once approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Shipping: Pack the item securely and ship it to our Singapore office:

  4. Verification: Upon arrival, our specialists will inspect the item. This process typically takes 3–5 business days.

5. SHIPPING COSTS FOR RETURNS

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect or an error on our part (e.g., wrong item sent), the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the return.
  • Tracking Required: We strongly advise using a trackable shipping service. We cannot process a refund if the returned item is lost in transit and never reaches our Admiralty St. facility.

6. REFUND DISBURSEMENT

Once the return is inspected and approved:

  • Approval: We will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • Method: Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.).
  • Deductions: Please note that original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If you receive a product that is damaged upon arrival:

  • Return Requirement: Even for damaged goods, the physical item must be returned to us for inspection before a replacement or refund is triggered. We will provide a pre-paid shipping label for verified manufacturing defects.

8. EXCHANGES

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you wish to exchange a non-defective item for a different color or style, you must first return the original item (at your expense) for a refund and then place a new order.

9. CANCELLATIONS

Orders for standard items can only be canceled within 24 hours of placement. Once an item has entered the production or shipping phase, the standard Return Policy applies (meaning the item must be received and then returned).
